Description:	This is an online Course Content Provider site. Please check the site, http://www.pdhcenter.com/ to get more idea about this kind of application. This application would be built in ASP and MySQL. (Cannot use MS Access for this scale of project as there is more data to be handled) The payment integration and credit card payment could be done via Paypal. If needed the Course completion certificate could be printed out as an image or as a pdf file. For that  it could be done in PHP. But note only this feature should be done in PHP. All the pages would be edited in a WYSIWYG rich text editor, which would store the html of the content design. Its more like of a CMS integrated into the content and course view. Modules: This application has three main modules. Site Admin module, Provider Module and Professional Engineer Module. Site Admin Module:   1. Add-View-Edit-Delete Course Category   2. Add-View-Edit-Delete Course Providers   3. Add-View-Edit-Delete Courses - The course category and course provider are referred to this Course. Will be using WYSIWYG rich text editor for entering the description. Special tag to mention whether this is a Featured course or any other course. Price is also entered for this course. And also the number of learning units has to be mentioned. The pass percentage could also be mentioned here if its not 70%.   4. Add-View-Edit-Delete Course Content - The Course added above is referred for this content. Will be using WYSIWYG rich text editor for entering the description. This could contain all the details for links and details about the course content.   5. Add-View-Edit-Delete Course Content Modules - The Course Content added above is referred for this content module. Will be using WYSIWYG rich text editor for entering the description. This could contain all the details for links and details about the course content module. This is actually optional. If all the details could be given in Course Content itself, then, entering more details in Content Module is not mandatory.   6. Add-Edit-View-Delete Course Completion Certificate. The provider or the admin could design the Course Completion certificate, using a WYSIWYG rich text editor. Constant Name holders could be inserted anywhere to reflect the actual PE's name, marks, date, etc.   7. Add-Edit-View-Delete Course Quiz. The provider or the admin could add Course Questions, multiple choice answers and the correct answers for a particular Course. This system is designed to provide only multiple choice questions, where there is only one answer for one question and not multiple answers for the same question.   8. Add-Edit-View-Delete Discount Code. The admin could add a Discount code and the amount that would be discounted as well as the expiry date after which the Discount would be invalid. This discount code could be used only once by any PE for any course.   9. Report View List of Registered Professional Engineers  10. Report View List of Payment for Courses  11. Report View List of Content Completed by PEs  12. Report View List of Discount usage  13. View PE referral list  14. View Course Provider referral list  15. View Corporate Enrollment list  16. Report View List of Incomplete Course, where the course has been purchased but not completed by the PE.  17. Site Configuration. The admin could change the login password, admin mail ID, SMTP details, etc. Course Provider Module:   1. Edit Profile. The provider can change their profile entered in by the admin.   2. View Course Details   3. Edit Course Completion Certificate   4. Edit Course Quiz   5. View List of Courses Purchased   6. View List of Incomplete Courses   7. View List of Completed Courses Professional Engineer Module:   1. New PE registration   2. Edit Profile   3. Browse by Course Category   4. View Course Details   5. View Course Content Details   6. View Course Module Details   7. Purchase Course and Quiz. Could use Discount code available, but only once. If the PE had used the Discount code anywhere else, then he can't use it again.   8. Take Quiz multiple times until pass (get the desired percentage). If passed, then the quiz couldn't be taken again.   9. View Quiz History  10. View Completed Course details  11. View Incomplete Course details  12. View and Print Payment Receipts  13. View and Print Course Completion Certificates Apart from the above modules and sub-modules, the following general modules would also be designed.   1. PE referral form. The details are stored in the database as well as sent as mail to the admin.   2. Course Provider referral form. The details are stored in the database as well as sent as mail to the admin.   3. Corporate Enrollment form. The details are stored in the database as well as sent as mail to the admin. I'm assuming that the website's other pages (such as About Us, FAQ, etc) would be constant or in html pages. If its to be done in CMS then that could also be done, but would need that confirmation before starting the application, as it would require more details and design restructure. Tentative Hours for this project: Between 180-200 man hours I will provide you with the WYSIWYG editor code and the design standards and style setting for this application. If you are interested in working on this project, you have to sign in a Non-disclosure Agreement and also agree that you wouldn't be using any part of the code anywhere else in your other projects.
